The course is 5 days and throughout the week you will be trained on all aspects of taking a statement, from how to ask questions to how to formulate the statement. The requirements of statements under Civil Procedure Rules are very different to criminal statements. You will be shown how to prepare photographs, plans and reports if you need to visit accident sites. You will have explained to you what a Conditional Fee Agreement document is and the importance of Legal Expense Insurance, both documents highly relevant in connection with personal injury claims. We will explain key points such as liability, quantum, disbursements, indemnity and fraud indicators as well as a host of other important issues to enable you to deal with a wide variety of work.
The course has been put together in partnership with BNH Associates Ltd, one of the foremost investigations companies providing support for the legal industry and Reliance Investigations Ltd who complete instructions for the insurance industry throughout England, Scotland, Northern Ireland and Wales. Between them, these two companies have over 150 agents working on a self-employed basis and act for over 60 clients completing a wide variety of personal injury and insurance work. Investigations Training Limited has been able to use this client base of leading personal injury and defendant solicitors, obtaining their views on what is important, and this additional input has helped us to develop a course that is both unique and relevant.
The cost of the course is £790 + vat. Unlike other courses who charge you for a range of additional extras, with us there are no additional costs for you to pay; and once you have paid the course fee – that’s it.

An additional training course is also available in connection with surveillance techniques. The 5 day course provides you with an in-depth knowledge of static, technical and mobile skills; which allows for the collation of evidence in relation to personal injury claims, fraud and commercial fraud.
